Permit Technician I

The City is seeking an experienced Permit Technician for the Public Services Department who is committed to the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team. Bonney Lake has been one of the fastest growing cities in Western Washington over the last decade and the Permit Technician is an integral part of the Permitting Team within the City's Public Services Department. This position serves as the main point of contact and cashier for all permitting within the City.

The ideal candidate will be thorough and knowledgeable about permit processes; have experience working with a permit tracking software; processing departmental cashiering; and must be flexible, conscientious, able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines, and ready to wear various 'hats' while supporting their fellow staff and customers. The Public Services Department will be moving to a brand new Public Services Facility in early 2022.
