[-] How do I find out about the WSU Forest?
The area known as the 'WSU Demonstration Forest' is located south of SR 410 and northeast of S Prairie Rd E, west of 214th Ave E.

In 2005 Washington State University and Weyerhaeuser applied for a Comprehensive Plan amendment to allow urban development of the WSU Demonstration Forest. The application was placed on hold at the request of the applicants. In 2009 the applicants submitted a new Comperehensive Plan amendment application. The City Council approved the proposed amendment and a related Development Agreement on December 22, 2009. As part of the development agreement, over 47 acres of the forest was dedicated to the City.

The closest dump for most Bonney Lake residents is the Prairie Ridge Transfer Station, located at 11710 Prairie Ridge Drive East

Another landfill is located in the South Hill area at 17925 Meridian Street East, Puyallup; call (253) 847-7555 for information.
