Filing of Application
A City of Bonney Lake structured employment application and supplemental information, if required, must be completed and submitted to the Human Resources Office by 5:00 p.m. (postmarks are accepted) on the closing date.
Resumes and Other Attachments
We encourage applicants to attach resumes or supplemental information which will assist us in the review and selection process, but such attachments are not required unless specified in the position announcement. Please be sure to complete the application, even if it duplicates the information your resume. Resumes are not accepted in lieu of a city application.
Screening Applications
Applications will be reviewed following the closing date stated on the announcement unless otherwise noted. Only completed application packets will be reviewed and evaluated. Those applicants whose qualifications most closely correspond to the City's current needs will be contacted for testing and/or interviews.
Notification
All applicants will be e-mailed to acknowledge the receipt of their application after the recruitment has closed. Applicants who do not have an e-mail address but who would like to receive acknowledgement of the receipt of their application may include a self-addressed stamped envelope along with their application packet.
Every effort is made to notify persons selected for an interview and/or testing within 15 working days following the closing date on the job announcement. Exceptions may occur from time to time due to the volume of recruitment activity.
If You Are Not Selected as a Finalist
The City sends no formal notification to applicants who are not selected for an interview or test. Should the same or another position open for which you would like to apply, you must submit another application form and the supplemental questionnaire if required, for the new opening.
