Filing of Application
A City of Bonney Lake structured employment application and supplemental questionnaire, if required, must be completed and submitted to the Human Resources Office by 5:00 p.m. on the closing date (postmarks are accepted).
Resumes and Other Attachments
We encourage applicants to attach resumes or other information which will assist us in the review and selection process, but such attachments are not required unless specified in the position announcement. Please be sure to complete the requested information in the application, even if it duplicates your resume work history. Resumes are not accepted in lieu of a city application.
Screening Applications
Only completed and signed employment application forms and response to the supplemental questionnaire (if required) will be reviewed and evaluated. Those applicants whose qualifications most closely correspond to the City's current needs will be contacted for testing and/or oral interviews.
Notification
All applicants will be mailed a postcard acknowledging receipt of their application. Every effort is made to notify persons selected for an interview and/or testing within 15 working days following the closing date on the job announcement. Exceptions may occur from time to time due to the volume of recruitment activity.
If You Are Not Selected as a Finalist
The City sends no formal notification to applicants who are not selected for an interview or test. Should the same or another position open for which you would like to apply, you must submit another application form and the supplemental questionnaire if required, for the new opening.
