CITIZEN'S ADVISORY COUNCIL

General Information
In the spring of 2006, the City Council passed Resolution No. 1588 creating a Citizen’s Advisory Council (CAC) to serve as another set of eyes and ears for neighborhood concerns and emerging issues in the City. The CAC’s stated mission is to alert the Mayor and City Council to emerging issues and problems in the Community that will require future planning and attention; provide a forum for consideration of community needs and issues, including the provision of municipal services generally; and to provide a forum for consideration of specific City plans, projects, programs or services that are specifically referred to the Citizen Advisory Council for review and comment by the Mayor, Council; Planning Commission; Parks Board; or other official board or commission of the City.

The members of the Citizen Advisory Council are appointed by the Mayor from a broad cross-section of the community.   The Council consists of not less than seven (7) members nor more than fifteen (15) members. The term of all Citizen Advisory Council members expires at the end of each calendar year. Members may be reappointed by the Mayor to successive terms without limitation.

Membership
Becky England, Tony Fournier, Jeff Monstrando, Terry Newby, Tori Dotson, Margie Dugan, Brad Doll, Casey Knowles, Brittany Fulton, Gregg Wells, Melissa Johnson, Debbie Lewis

Schedule
The CAC usually meets the third Thursday of each month at 6:00p.m. at City Hall, 19306 Bonney Lake Blvd.  Unlike regular City Boards and Committees, this council has a flexible schedule and may not always meet regularly.
