Community GardenNow Accepting 2011 Garden Plot Applications!

- Due May 1, 2011 -

Download the Garden Plot Request Form from our Forms page

The City of Bonney Lake and Bonney Lake Community Resources have partnered for the first-ever community garden in Bonney Lake starting in 2010! The trial Community Garden is located at 18421 89th St E, adjacent to the Bonney Lake Lions 4 Kids house. Check out the Current Project page for updates on the Community Garden project!

The garden is supervised by Bonney Lake Community Resources (aka Bonney Lake Food Bank), which uses a portion of the garden for the Food Bank.

The number of available garden plots is limited.
There is no charge to use an assigned garden plot, but you are responsible for providing your own topsoil or additive, seeds, and tools. Irrigation is provided by the City. If you are interested in having a plot in the garden, please submit the Garden Plot Request form from our Forms page.

Community Garden participants can donate any surplus produce to the Bonney Lake Food Bank or the Bonney Lake Senior Center. Residents are also welcome to volunteer in the Food Bank’s portion of the garden.

If you have questions regarding the Garden or how to request a plot, please contact the Facilities & Special Projects Manager. If you have any questions regarding the Food Bank’s role in supervising the garden, please call Food Bank Director Stew Bowen at (253) 208-6779.
