General Information
Eastown is at the eastern edge of Bonney Lake, generally bounded by 214th Avenue East to the west, 96th Street to the north, 233rd/234th to the east, and 106th/Entwhistle Road to the south. The City of Bonney Lake annexed this area in 2001 in response to rapid growth and a need for commercial land. However, the area remains largely undeveloped due to the lack of water and sewer infrastructure.
In 2006, to resolve the infrastructure barriers, the City prepared an Eastown Subarea Plan with stakeholder involvement and adopted it as part of its Comprehensive Plan on December 13, 2005 (Ordinance 1177).
