Adopt-A-Street

Participating groups agree to remove litter from an assigned, one mile or more section of street, at least 4 times per year, with a two year minimum commitment.  The City provides the volunteers with safety signs, garbage bags, gloves, safety vests and hard hats.  Once cleanup is completed, our city crew will pick-up and dispose of the bagged litter.  After the first scheduled cleanup has been completed, the City will install a recognition sign with the group's name on it to thank them for all their efforts.

The City of Bonney Lake is a beautiful city and we want to keep it that way. Adopting a street shows pride in the city and it is a great way to show that you or your organization care. You can get involved in the Adopt-A-Street program with your business, club, organization, school or family and help keep Bonney Lake beautiful!

Fill out the Adopt-A-Street application form. For more information about the program or to apply to adopt a street, please contact the Adopt-A-Street Coordinator at 253-447-4319 or by E-mail.

Eastpointe Church adopted Angeline Road E in honor of the young family who tragically died on that stretch of road. The Ellis' were a large presence in  the Eastpointe Church community and would be so proud to have this as a remembrance of them.

Snyder Piano Service
James Snyder has been cleaning since the Adopt a Street program began in 1983. We believe he is the first picker to sign up.  He is a one man show that has shown years of dedication to doing his civic duty as well as gaining some publicity for his piano service. Currently, James cleans 2 routes for the City.

The Munsch Family
The Munsch Family was super excited to see the Causeway open up through the city's Adopt a Street program. The route is close to their home and is a great way to give back to their community and make a difference within their local neighborhood. "We enjoy cleaning our street throughout the year as a family walking along Lake Tapps and the view of Mt. Rainier".
The Munsch children are involved in RC racing, basketball and jet skiing. As a family they enjoy camping and cruising in their hot rods in the summertime.
